Margaret (Peg) lived a life full of love, family,
and laughter. She excelled as a daughter,
nurse, wife, mother, grandmother, and
friend.
She lived her life through her heart. She
was kind, compassionate, inclusive, and
generous — the perfect caregiver to all.
Peg was born in Belleville and grew up in
Peterborough. She moved to Toronto to
become a nurse at St. Michaels Hospital
where she met Dr. Joseph Marotta. Joe
and Peg had a wonderful life together
shared with 10 children, and 20
grandchildren.
