Where Your Dollar Goes
Government funding only does so much. Your gifts help us do more.
Thanks to generous donor support, we were able to grant nearly $21 million to St. Michael’s Hospital to support capital, equipment, research, education and clinical priorities.
Donors helped us advance research in traumatic head injury and cardiac disease, purchase new digital mammography equipment for the CIBC Breast Centre, renovate the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic and develop an innovative program to teach young physicians how to treat inner city health issues.
Support from donors also enabled us to establish endowed and term chairs in trauma and nursing research; homelessness, housing and health; and therapeutic endoscopy, which will provide new resources for our clinician-scientists.
